Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. What are the next steps?

-
+
So that your adviser can continue to provide advice and services to you, we’ll need you to complete some paperwork to transfer with your adviser to Hybrid Advice.

You will shortly receive a secure email link asking you to electronically sign updated client documents. These are simply administrative updates which reflect the new structure and your adviser relationship will remain the same.

Your adviser is available if you would like to discuss anything or have any questions.

2. Do I need to take any action right now?

-
+
Yes — you’ll receive an email with a secure link to sign updated documents. It’s important that you complete these documents as quickly as possible, to ensure that your adviser can continue to seamlessly provide advice and services.

The new documents reflect your adviser’s new partnership with Hybrid Advice and therefore the change in the regulated entity providing advice and services to you going forward. Your adviser will be available to support you through the process, so please do speak with them if you have any questions.

3. Have my fees or anything else changed in my existing agreement?

-
+
There will be no immediate changes to the services you receive or the fees you pay.

In partnership with Hybrid Advice, your adviser will have access to a wider range of platforms and cost effective investment and retirement solutions. They may, in due course, recommend some changes to your portfolio but rest assured, your adviser will discuss and provide advice to you, should they identify alternative solutions to best meet your needs.

4. Will I still work with the same adviser?

-
+
Hybrid Advice is here to strengthen your adviser's ability to provide advice and services to you, not replace it. You’ll continue working with the same adviser and team who have supported you to date.  There may be a rare occasion beyond our control that results in a change to your appointed adviser, but we’ll let you know if this is the case ahead of any changes being made.
